2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” Here are just a few people groups that we can pray for right now.

  1. Pray for leaders at all levels (federal, state, local, school and church leaders). Pray for God to guide them in making the best decisions to keep everyone safe.

  2. Pray for healthcare workers on the front lines of this pandemic. They are working hard to provide care.

  3. Pray for people who are not able to work and therefore are struggling financially. This affects, individuals, families and businesses.

  4. Pray for those who have to work and are therefore in danger of being exposed. Also, pray for those with children who have to work and have no child care because schools and daycares are closed.

  5. Pray for the elderly, those with already compromised immune systems and pregnant women.

  6. Pray for teachers. They are not looking at this as an extended vacation. They are concerned for their students and what this means for them.

  7. Pray for students. Seniors especially are missing a lot of “last moments”.

Our best response to what we are currently facing, is prayer. As you pray, comment here who you are praying for. There are many others besides those listed above who need prayer. Feel free to list them here and we can all pray for them together.
