This time of the year is the time for planting and starting crops.  Farmers and gardeners have to decide what they want to plant for the season and when that is decided then comes the rest of the planning.  They don’t just plant the seeds and forget about them. They tend to them; making sure they are growing and producing.  We can be sowing seeds in a spiritual sense as well.  Christians can be sowing seeds of hope for America through prayer.

We shouldn’t just stop at sowing the seeds of hope. We need to water and help them grow just as a farmer would be doing during the season.  For example, telling others about praying for a revival in America is the first step, but we should check in and encourage the prayer to continue.  Grow spiritually with others by putting together prayer groups and spreading the word as much as possible. Sometimes all we can do is plant the seeds and hope that the growth will continue.

In 2 Corinthians 9:6, we are told how” Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously,” giving incentive to spending more time in sowing seeds. Your seeds will produce more results if you devote more time and dedication!

Proverbs 11:18,” A wicked person earns deceptive wages, but the one who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward.”  America needs revival more and more every day.  The righteous can overcome if they continue to sow and cultivate the seeds.
