As we all know, November 8th is Election Day. Many Christians are unsure how to vote in this election.  On November 7th, there will be A STATEMENT around the STATE Capitol where non-partisan groups of Mississippi believers will gather. Believers will be able to pray for the decision Americans must make and to pray for guidance to whoever wins the election. This event will start around noon until 12:30.  Prayer groups will crowd the sidewalk perimeter as Christians pray that the Lord Jesus will come and meet with them and give them direction.

Praying to God not only places Him in his rightful exalted position, but also is talking to Him. God hears us and responds in different ways. “If you and I were eagles flying over the New Capitol, we would see this huge rectangle formed by the people of God who will be calling out to heaven and asking Him, the Lord of Glory, to come and do a mighty work in us” says Dr. Jim Futral.

After the initial group prayer, guest speakers will be present and another prayer rally and luncheon will begin around 1:00.

Pause at noon on Nov. 7th with a circle of friends, coworkers, family members, etc. to say a prayer even if you can’t make it out to the State Capitol. Anyone is welcome to join in to be prayer warriors during this monumental time for our country. YOU can make a difference by becoming a prayer warrior.  Spread the word about this event.

Ephesians 6:18,” And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”
