Is your curiosity peaked? Are you trying to figure out what the three R’s could be? They are all similar but we will define each.

  1. Renewal is defined as “the replacing or repair of something that is worn out, run-down, or broken.” As Christians we can sometimes feel exactly like that definition. We can grow tired, frustrated and numb in our Christian walk. Isaiah 40:31 tell us “they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
  2. Restoration is defined as “the act of returning something to a former condition.” After King David committed adultery with Bathsheba, he cried out to God and asked to be restored to the joy of His salvation.
  3. Revival. To be revived is to be made alive again. In order to be revived, you must first be alive. Revival comes to Christians who need to be renewed and restored in fellowship with God. This requires repentance on our part. Our hearts and minds have to turn back to Him. Revival gives us a new energy to carry out the work that has been laid before us.

II Chronicles 7:14 says, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” This is what the RAM prayer is all about.
